Do you know of an app that can be configured to resize and scale-up any app window?

The window content needs to be scaled up too, not just the window frame.

Why? I'm using a couple of apps that do not support resize. I am using them in a lab environment, where I'm not always close to the computer screen and need to see the content loud and clear from a distance. The apps are AziEzi and NAK T-100. I did write the developer (Chinese, I think) but they ignore me.

Yes, I could change my screen resolution, but no thanks.

@bogdanw thanks for the tip. Those are workarounds, but I may use them as a last resort.

I would definitely prefer a dedicated app for this.

Thanks, I'll check it out, although scanning the product page, there is no mention of what I'm looking for.

I don’t have Moom right now, and thus I wasn’t sure that it would do what you want. However, I just wrote a simple macro with Keyboard Mastro where I can zoom both the window and its contents. I realize that Keyboard Maestro takes time to learn, but I find it indispensable for several tasks that I do regularly.

Edit: My mistake! The window size is growing with my macro, but the contents aren’t being zoomed! Sorry!

I downloaded Moom, and although they use the word “Zoom” on their website, what they really mean is that just the size of the window grows. Crud!

How about just setting the screen resolution in system settings to something lower?
Basically all windows will be rendered at smaller size and then scaled up to fill the screen.

Edit: sorry just saw you already wrote you don't like this option…

I just came across this, and since I happen to be the guy to blame for the use of that word, I figured I'd confirm what you said: The "Zoom" part in Moom's name and description is a reference to the green window widget, which used to be known as the zoom button before it turned into a full-screen button in a lot of use cases.

Sorry for the confusion!
