App to backup computer onto external hardrive

Hello,

Does anyone know of an application that will let me back up sync certain folders on my computer to my external hardrive.

Because i use two diffrent computers (iBook and a thinkpad(Windows)) I need to keep them both the same (Documents wise) So, i have an external hardrive. Which i would like to be able to sync certain folders on my ibook to my hardrive.

Im running iBook G4 Mac OS X 10.4.11.

If i dont make sence just give me a shout 🙂

Maybe DropBox would work for you. If you feel like getting more advanced you could try rsync...there a couple of GUI frontends for it...RSyncX and GRSync.
