app to convert audio files

    looking for an app that i could use to convert lower quality .mp3 files to higher quality files

    alot of songs i want to download can only be found on youtube and when i use youtube converters or downloaders, they all convert the songs to 120kbps and that is some pretty bad quality

    anything you guys can recommend?

    In answer to your first question, that isn't possible. To your second, I use ClipGrab sometimes and it can get files at 256kbps. Try that.

    You will not get a better quality with already low quality sources by transcoding 128 kBit/s files to 320 kBit/s files.
