App to convert mp4 (or other) video to jpegs?

I'd like to convert a video file into a series of still frames. Either one jpeg for each frame, or one frame from each second, etc. Doesn't matter too much.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Doesn't quicktime pro have a export as "image sequence" function?
