Hey,

Does anyone know a useful app to delete hidden or forgotten files from apps you already deleted. I use ''AppCleaner'' to delete apps and it also deletes certain small files the apps make while using them. But I've discovered AppCleaner doesn't hunt down :D the hidden files and I've found some of apps I deleted a long time ago.

So my question is: is there a app that scans your current app database and deletes left over app files from apps that you already deleted?

Rather a free version, since I won't be using the app too often, but a paid one is also okay if it's reasonably priced. :)

Thanks.

Most "cleaners" are more trouble than they're worth.

There may be a few files around, but there's no sure-fire way for an app to know whether a file is associated with a (now deleted) app.

The amount of space from vestigial files is likely to be very small. I'd be surprised if there was as much as 1Mb of such files on your disk.

Yea I'm guessing it won't be much combined. A few older apps all had like 20-50 kb in files left in the folder. But I was just curious to see if there is a more effective app for deleting other apps.
