I sometimes shoot 500-1000 RAW-format images a day. Since these can take 20-30 gb of storage I would like to find an app that can select images that are out of focus in a folder and mark those for further examination by the user then deleted.

Each RAW image file is about 35-40mb and even if 40-50 images are out of focus that's 1gb+ I can delete from my 3 hard drives.

Unsharp photos compress better than sharp photos, even if you shoot RAW. Sort on file size and check the photos with the smallest file size first.

Thanks for the tip. I use different cameras with different sensors so the smaller files from those cameras skew the results. I know raw apps have focus masks to show what area is in focus. I wish there was an easier way to cull the out of focus images.
