App to draw/write on photos

I am looking for an app that will let me take a picture, draw, write on it, and then re-save it to the my camera roll.

I've tried a few that I found by searching with google and they all seem to kind of suck. If you guys have any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated.

I used Photopen for just this purpose the other day, and it worked great. That was on the iPad though - not sure how well the UI translates to iPhone. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photopen/id478887640?mt=8

I'm the creator of you doodle. I've spent nearly three years on the app and I believe it to be the best for drawing on a photo. Once you dowload the app, tap the plus button in the top right to get started. When you are done drawing, tap the share button in the top left.

Looking for something similar..

I want to use a photo to make a new drawing from.. not on the photo. Everything seems to allow me to draw on a photo or add text.. or convert a photo into a sketch. I want to take the shapes i want off the photo by tracing them... A bit like the old artists used to do with a camera obscura to trace the picture...

Any ideas?
