App to help monitor work project on two ipad2

A colleague of mine is using an app called "my projects" to check off the steps of each customers job on his ipad2. He is the primary person and I only want to be able to follow the status of those jobs. I have the same apps that he does on my ipad2.

Is there an app that will automatically up date my app or sync with his app so I can check in from time to time on the progress of the projects.

We are not wed to the apps and are open to other suggestions. 🙄
