App to hide whos SMSing you (NOT Preview)

As topic is there a way where i can the pop up sayiing SMS is from someone? This isnt the preview text but from the contact itself. A simple SMS recieved would be nice 😉

He doesn't want to block texts. He wants to receive them and be notified but not have the name of the texter show in the notification.

oh. i didnt get what he meant by (No Preview). but now i get it. he doesnt want to have a preview of the text pop up when he receives a text message while hes not in the sms app? settings > messages > show preview (off)

That will not hide the sender's name, just the text of the message.

LockInfo can be set to block pop-ups. If you use it in conjunction with one of the notifier apps all you will get is the small SMS icon in the menu bar.

BiteSMS will allow you to do exactly that under its privicy settings.
