I would like to announce the Unlock Video is available in App Store.
1. It enables you select video recording quality. (HD, VGA, SD and Low)
-You could save the device storage by selecting lower quality for casual video recording.
-You won’t miss important moment when device lacks storage.

2. It extends the maximum video recording time length.
-The maximum video recording file is 4GB (device limitation), which means about 50 minutes on iPhone4, iPod Touch4 and iPad2. The maximum recording time is extended when you select lower quality.
-You will have the following maximum recording length when you have 4GB device storage left:
VGA -> approximate 2 hour 30 minute
SD -> approximate 3 hour 30 minute
Low -> approximate 52 hour !!

I think you've mixed SD with something else there - SD (standard definition) is normally 640x480 or higher - in which case it should have the same or shorter recording time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SD_video#Pixel_aspect_ratio

Long story short; using generic naming rather than calling something what it actually is will probably complicate matters.
