app won't upgrade

I am on edge and was upgrading an app I was downloading the upgrade then hit pause, when resumed it the app never started downloading again it is just sitting there half loaded. There is also no way to delete the app and just re-download it. Help me jebus.

have you tried to sync it with itunes on your computer and let it upgrade that way?
