iPhone 11 Apparently my iPhone 11 is 5G. Who's Jealous?

Ok, I never saw this before. I thought I was special. I was so eager to come home and post this here. For once I thought I would be the cool kid (I'm 40 now) 
5Ge is the same as the crap when AT&T started saying 4G about 3G+... it’s not real 5G
screw ATT for doing it this way. They ruined the term 4G and then when the real thing came everyone had to use the longer phrase 4G LTE just to clarify that ATT was faking it.
same thing now again. ATT wants people to come to them with the perception they have 5G, but it’s really a version of 4G LTE still.

It is an IOS 13 thing, so all of the phones will show it if you have AT&T

Nope just AT&T marketing / sales fluff. This has been around since the launch of the iPhone X. We call it market speak or vaporware. It ain't real 5G.
This is wide spread here in South Florida....

Mine has shown 5Ge for a few months now, since long before iOS13. Has nothing to do with the iOS - it's an AT&T marketing thing.
