    Crucial is probably just done with the C300 and won't invest any more time/money into it. They are moving on.

    Since the C400 is designed to be faster, cheaper, and use the newer technologies, it doesn't surprise me. I've read the C300 will last slightly longer than the C400, but I doubt anyone will be able to wear the size of their SSD down before they have to replace it because we have moved from 128GB SSDs to 128 TB SSDs.
