Do you know which iPad's the Apple 30W USB-C can fast charge?

I have a 1st gen 12.9" iPad pro and a 10.5" iPad pro, will it charge these?

I'm thinking maybe time to get one of these fast chargers, I also have an iPhone X that is compatible, what about iPhone 7?

It'll cost, here in UK, £49 for charger, and £19 for the USB-C to lightning, pretty expensive but maybe worth it? Any other 3rd party options in UK?

It’ll fast charge all of those except for the iPhone 7 which caps out at 10W if I’m remembering correctly.

Yep, fast charge (= support USB 3.1+ power delivery standard) :

    iPad Pro 10.5"
    iPad Pro 12.1"
    iPhone 8
    iPhone 8 Plus
    iPhone X

Reason why Apple pulled the 29W model and released a 30W model is that the official / finalised revision of the standard mandates 30W (= 15V / 2 A).

I tried to connect my Belkin iPad dock with an integrated Lightning to USB type-A connector to this 30W charger using a type C to USB type-A female adapter (from Apple). Yes, it charges, but I'm still not sure whether I'm actually see the fast charging magic for my 10.5" iPad Pro.

It depends on how USB PD does the negotiation protocol. AFAIK, the extra data signals for USB 3.0 are not involved, so should work using a (still) USB2 connector with less pins.
