If I'm a blind person and I have multiple Apple devices and they all use USB-C except for the iPhone, then it becomes insanely inconvenient to use the iPhone.

Heck, it's insanely inconvenient for people who don't rely on accessibility features, so I can only imagine how annoying it is to make sure you grabbed the right cable when you can't even see them. Especially since USB-C and Lighting are the exact same form factor. It has to be freaking annoying!

I should be able to use the same cable on my phone as I do on my iPad Pro and MacBook. It would be simple and convenient. I wish Apple would go back to their "it just works" philosophy.

I understand your explanation. I never marked your original post with a “disagree” - but you gave no indication that your remarks had anything to do with accessibility, even though accessibility was the topic. Which is why I asked for an explanation...which you disagreed with...then explained.
