Apple having no idea what apps they are vetting actually do IS a security situation, even if you don't understand why.This isn’t a security situation, so it actually doesn’t say anything about a secured walled garden argument.
But you shouldn’t lose sleep over the inefficiencies of a trillion dollar company. Just do due diligence when downloading apps.For all their bluster Apple is throwing stones from their immaculately built glass fortress. They aren’t in any position to scaremonger over third party app stores or claim the high road over security
I’m not worried at all, I’m capable of responsibly using third party app stores and should be able to do so no matter the geographic location or laws.
