Also, Apple really needs to allow using the Apple Account Balance for Family Purchases.
I agree. You can share apps, storage, cards, music subscription, almost anything with your family members except Apple account balance.

Why do you want it? You're not going to get the cashback and discounts that they (and other US credit cards) offer, because they're funded by higher merchant rates that card providers charge in the US where there are no caps on interchange fees (most charge around 2%), compared to the UK where they're capped at 0.3%.Just give us Apple Card in the UK, already.
Oh, ok. ThanksIt’s not something you get. This isn’t the Apple Card as in the Apple credit card that you have to apply for. This is just showing you what your Apple account balance is. It’s much easier than having to dig into settings then your Apple ID or go into the iTunes app and look at your balance there.
I wish they would change this. Sometimes, when I know I'll be upgrading something, I like to stash a bit of money away away from all of my other savings, but when that Apple One payment comes out automatically, it can be a bit deflating.a year or so ago, i tried using this.
when i bought something in the on line apple store, any balance on the card was automatically used first. you could not set it to not use the apple card balance.
Would be more useful TBH.Damn, thought that was Apple Card for a moment!😂

It’s not a bad card for someone that’s in the Apple ecosystem and wants a simple general purpose cashback card. You get straight 2% cashback, no gimmicks with Apple Pay. Compare that to the Venmo card for example where it has a 3%, 2%, 1% tier system, but only your top two spending categories from a list of categories they choose gets the higher percentage. Most things don’t fall these pre-selected categories so you only get 1%. If you’re not paying attention, you’ll be doing a lot of spending with only 1% cashback. Why so interested in getting the Apple Card? It's fairly mediocre, as far as reward credit cards go.
Do you even have reward cards in the UK?

It’s not a bad card if you look at the categories and find one you like and only spend on that. Then it becomes a 3% card for that category. I don’t really use it because the major categories of dining and groceries are covered by my AMEX cards. The rest are minor spend categories that I use a 2% card on.The Venmo card? I've never even heard of that. I only use the Apple Card for free financing Apple products; and it's good for that.
I have the AMEX card that gives 6% on groceries, but I know of one that gives 3% on everything. My AMEX cards get up to 6%, and at minimum 3% for everything else.
I didn’t think about that. It’s been a while since I’ve been on vacation.Edit: I do use my Apple card when out of the county as it has no foreign transaction fee, when they don't take AMEX.
We have plenty of reward cards in the UK. And for someone who purchases a fair amount of Apple kit, the card would be welcome. Why so interested in getting the Apple Card? It's fairly mediocre, as far as reward credit cards go.

i’m about to go to my Apple Store. I loaded some gift cards into my ‘Apple Account’ (£189). I then destroyed the physical cards. I can see the balance but cant redeem them. All the online ‘Support’ still talks about scanning the code on the gift card. lets see if anyone in store knows how to access these funds. In the UK by the way.Yep, I’ve been complaining about this issue for years. You can’t bypass the gift card balance, so even recurring subscriptions use it before ever using the credit card. I can’t even load my gift cards from Christmas to convert them to digital versions (and avoid losing them) because the balance will inevitably be deleted. So, to me, it’s quite useless.
