Incredibly BAD baiting of what can be a gullible public.

@name99 is right in his post, I'm in the med device/pharma industry and have seen a lot of research and potential devices for breath analysis and blood detection of different blood markers related to cancer etc..

The gullible baiting is more that Apple will update Health Kit app and related hardware before cancer is cured.

They are so focused on the health aspects they can bring to the watch etc. but they neutered the Health App in iOS 10.

WTF?

Add "signal a heart attack 30 minutes before it strikes" and you have the complete picture of Tim Cook's professional life main goal.
In all honesty I'd love to have this technology as well as the others, think of the lives that can be saved!

Apple should acquire Intel or Dell so we could finally see computers coming out of this company

I hope they can detect melanoma. I had it when I was 19, go for checkups ever 3 months for the last 19 years, and am covered in so many atypical moles they don't even know what to do with me.

But I fear that this is pie in the sky.

I use it all the time, just as fitness and weight tracking. I'd like it to be more well rounded, but I don't want to spend my life tending to an app so it has all the info it needs.

It's "better" in iOS10, it's a working progress. They really need a web based dashboard and do more integration work with things like MapMyFitness...

I don't agree, I think iOS10 health is move in the direction the industry is going, look at MS, Fitbit, etc. They all have similar look and feel.

The dashboard view was fantastic. It's a step in the wrong direction for me and many others who use that view regularly. All graphs in one place is more intuitive I feel. They need to have the dashboard view available as well and an easy way to export the data. A web based dashboard would be nice, but why not have it on the phone as an option just like it is?

The fact you have to now drill into an item to see the graph, and can't see all of them at once and simply scroll through them, is not user friendly in my opinion.

I'm not saying that shouldn't add to the app, but why get rid of an excellent feature?
