Apple ADC discount store??

Hey guys,

I was planning on joining apple's dev thing to get that deep discount on my macbook when I buy later this month.

To my dismay it seems that overnight last week the ADC discount store (the canadian one at least) went from existing to link not found :S

does that mean there's no more discount? if so, ouch.

Gone for good I believe

I believe the memberships which qualified for ADC discounts (Premier and up) were replaced last year with the one-size-fits-all $99 account which doesn't have hardware discounts. The ADC hardware website was left up for people who still had time left on their Premier memberships.

boo-urns. i'd phoned apple about a month ago and the rep on the phone advised me that I would be able to get the discount with the new membership.. I almost bought one!

In any case yuck, there goes my cheap mac.

Seems that Apple caught on. Why should they give you a discount on hardware when you don't want to develop anything?
