Apple Adds iPad Support to Apple TV Remote App

Anyone know if you can type things with remote app? And before people start asking why I would want this when you can use Siri, I would use it for passwords, and when Siri doesn't understand what I say.

I haven't used the Remote app that much at all, as I don't really see the need to, but if you can use a keyboard to type from a phone, I might find myself using it more.

Used the Remote App to sign in my TV Provider (DTV) this morning by being able to type in the password on my ipad. Course I was already signed in and the update knocked that out. But all has been sorted out now.

There is! If you have a device you can control over hdmi cec. Just use the hardware volume up/down buttons.

They "baked" them in? How interesting! I always thought software was written or built or coded, but I guess it turns out they're baking it now! ...seriously, can we put this tired phrase to bed once and for all?
