Another typical comment from an American employee who doesn’t know best. “I have vacation time but I don’t take it!” And that’s the problem with America! No work-life balance… and if you say you do, I’m telling you you don’t because I know what’s it’s like to have 30+ days vacation in France and using it to recharge, travel the world and learn about other cultures - most Americans haven’t visited their own National Parks - or relax with family or friends… you know, enjoying life!
Agree. It should be illegal to pay out vacation. The reason for vacation is to destress. And The companies are shady. They SAY you get the vacation, but they either will keep denying, or imply you will be in trouble if you use it all.

Good luck getting a job there, very competitive.
Yea sounds like another company that used to be around us. Might get insane pay but that's directly proportional to the stupidity of the company. Ex got approved for bereavement and they f#**##$ terminated her! Won Unemployment, but that's total BS!

Glossy poster to cover up the cracks.

Here in Japan, I'm a member of a labour union which is fighting for sick pay, pensions, and health insurance, for non-Japanese workers. Apple employees form a chapter of the selfsame union:

On the flip side, perhaps Apple wants to mention these benefits because many employees probably don’t know they exist.

As a federal employee, I’m discovering new benefits I never knew that I was eligible for even after 6 years of service!
