I really don't get why people are still traveling to the HQ to watch a pre-recorded announcement, instead of watching it from home.

It all makes sense:

M3 iMac
M3 Pro and M3 Max MBP

MBA (both sizes) will be updated next year to M3 to account for the fact that the 15" came out in WWDC23.
