I have two computers of Apple Mac Book Air 2020 I like to use one for online the other off line. Since upgrading I have not been able to see how I can remove the wifi connection of the hardware. I have searched around for a great deal of time and asked several websites. Does anyone know where it is inside the Airbook 2020. I have seen the brake down of the computer but where is it? Pictures of this would be good.

I agree with @WildSky Unless you are willing to risk voiding the warranty, just turn off Wifi on that Mac. And when it is not in use, completely turn off the MBA. That way you don't have to wonder or worry. If you want to proceed see the video.

it seems that the wifi is not removable it is built into the motherboard

Activity Monitor > Networking Tap. If my internet was tone turned off it is not possible in the Activity Networking tab that there should be information packages uploading and downloading from the computer is this correct?

If you remove the known Wifi from the Mac and delete the password in keychain, it isn't going to be able to connect to the Wifi and then the internet. Did you make sure hotspot isn't enabled on your other Apple devices, and that the Mac isn't connecting to one of them to transmit? If that isn't the case, it is impossible for the Mac to connect to the Wifi and then the internet.

There are not hot spots connected to this computer. I will check to ensure if there are any password connected to the internet. And delete it from my keychain and see if this work. And see if there are any up loading and down loading in the Monitor Activity Log under the Tab Networking.

The marvel of a SoC.

It might be worth clarifying though what exact risk are you trying to mitigate by removing the wifi? There's various settings in Mac OS X which are admin password protected too which might achieve the same objective. I'd say removing the antenna might also not be sufficient given even without an antenna, it might still be able to pick up on wifi signals (haven't tried but it was like this on my desktop PC with a wifi antenna slot).

As a book writer, I like to research online research content, explore subjects keeping my personal working private until I have come to a full conclusion of what ever it is that I'm exploring. I'm never a guy that likes to come out with a absolute ideology. I'm sure we can all agree that Ive we are to explore our selves or subjects matter that are not really sure to make them out to be we do not want to reveal our workings until we know ourselves what we think of the subject idea etc. The second laptop computer Apple Mac 2020 has now been sold. everything returned to it original contents. I have found other means how to keep my personal journals or subject matters private.

Conclusion to this matter. If you live in Australia that has a Laptop computer Mac Book Air 2020. explore this. connect to a wifi. Then Disconnect it. Then go into Monitor Activity on the Network Settings and see for your self if there is being information being up loaded and down loaded. Try disconnecting the Antenna. Take some Screen Shoots, pictures and post. It is known that the Apple Mac Book Air 2020 Wifi System is inbuilt into the Mother Board. This is fact. It is also known that when you go to the wifi settings and you turn off the wifi that you can not access the internet yes. But it seem that in the back ground of the computer the informations that is being uploaded and downloaded data is continuous.

did not work
If bluetooth and wifi are off, then I think it might just be interprocess network communication (localhost) listed in activity monitor. To be safe you could delete network interfaces in systemsettings.

I'd be curious both:
1) Was there network activity even before you connected to any wifi networks? (could it be searching for wifi? or maybe just communicating with the hardware internally?)
2) If you turned off your wifi router (i.e. unplugged the power) does this still occur? (if so then it indicates it's not connecting to your router at least).

Mindful you've sold your Macbook Air so bit of a moot point, but if anyone else has experimented with a new OOTB Macbook I'd be curious to hear results.

My soloution to the issue is to purchase an older MacBook Air and remove the wifi system. It works perfectly now.
