Apple aluminium keyboard with number pad not recognised with ventura

hi team , I recently updated my M1 mac mini to ventura 13.0.1 but now my Aluminium keyboard with number pad no longer works at all. Luckily I had A spare logitek keyboard in the cupboard to let me log on .

Anyone know of a solution ? the mac mini is less than a year old and all was working fine until the latest update

It sounds like you have a bad connection. Try a different port. Blow out the connector.
