In my local Apple store trying on Sport loops bands.
When asking about colours and availability. The Apple assistant was unable to get info on some of the colours I had been looking at.

I did notice that some of the bands had the Nike logo on them.

After leaving the store I was unsure why they couldn’t find the info on some of the bands.
So looking into it I found that the Nike watches come with different sports bands (even the black is a little different) and they are not available on there own. Even Apple employees don’t know about this.

I wish the Nike ones were for sale individually as I love the reddish pink one and think it would look awesome on the Space Grey watch.

It was the bright crimson and black one that started the problem. When said it was pink and the wife said red. The Apple store employee couldn’t find it to help.

But does look good on a space grey watch

If it's like the series 2, they will eventually release some of the Nike bands for sale individually but not all colors.

Fingers crossed for the Crimson, or maybe I could find someone selling one or willing to trade. Lol

I’m seriously considering buying a Nike watch for one of the sport loops and selling it with a different band. All I would want is to break even.

Good luck breaking even :D

Why would anyone buy your open box with another band for full price?

Well I assume he means cost of the watch minus the price of a band as breaking even.

And add the cost of the band you sell the watch with instead? Not going to be a great deal even though I agree the Nike loop is pretty great looking

Unless he gives one he already has. I’m pretty sure that got to be what he meant anyway

Bingo! I have a couple Nike bands that I haven’t worn. I would just throw in the black one. Also, I would not be crushed if I lost $50 since that is the price of the band.
