Apple and the broadcasting world rumor...

    Hey,

    A friend of mine recently told me that apple is going to steer away from professional broadcasting tools (editing systems, etc) and focus more on consumer products iMac, etc..

    is this true? have i wasted 6000$ of my life???

    There have been those rumors for years now, the rumor exists because Apple hasn't added anything or updated FCPS in soo many years (Studio 1 to Studio 2 is like CS3 to CS4) ;) , and they are only buying applications from other companies and rebranding them as their own app without fixing bugs or adding any features.

    I doubt they would be leaving unless they really didn't have the engineers available.

    Yeah! :rolleyes: Like they'll totally scrap their plans of releasing FinalCut Studio 3 too! And Adobe will drop the Mac like a lead balloon, opting for Linux platform instead.
