I gave up on Apple. I have 96GB of storage on my S4, and will be buying a 256GB MicroSD card when they become available, which will give me 288GB of storage - then I'll start ripping more DVD and Blu-Ray movies to my phone. :)

Seriously, I didn't know that Samsung has 96 GB hard drive on its Note. Must be a reason why Samsung don't sell anymore :) they are too heavy and thick with that hard drive inside

Android wins by far

I have all Apple products, except for the iPhone.

Android wins over Apple phones for exactly what you describe and more. I have three charged high capacity batteries and anytime I can pop a charged one in and I'm good to go for over eight hours of talk. It takes three seconds to out in a new fully charged battery. I never have to plug in the phone for any reason. Photos are easily view or copied via the removable SD card. Sync backup to Google is automatic. The entire phone can be also backed up to an SD card if desired. All the apps needed are free. WiFi is very sensitive, and negotiations are quick. Unlike an iPhone, my Android tethers to my MacBook and my iPad for fast surfing anywhere 4G is available. My phone cost only 80 dollars and there's no annual contract. $40/month service charge gets everything needed.

The batteries are easily harged by a $4 external wall charger, and each 3,500 mAH battery cost $5.

My Android phone receives wifi and wireless signals more often and stronger than a friend's iPhone 5 on Sprint.

I have all android devises as well and iMac. One of the reason to buy iPhone 6+ now is exactly the good connectivity between iMac , iPad and iPhone. When talking about phones -it is not only the phone itself, but the possibility to connect with pc / iMac. .. iOS is better in my case....

Why ?

Why do you need that whatever you mean by "connectivity" ? Android connects fine to a MacBook, and tethers to both the iPad and MacBook. Whatever you mean, it must be offset by the initial price, monthly service, inconvenience of a non-replaceable battery, etc.

No, android is not" connected " to imac as I need - no keychain, no airplay stream, no screen mirroring to imac / appletv, no safari, no share the same favorites , no icloud, no iTunes. .... simply - not os (ios) devise. It is a "foreigner" for imac. .. that is why I ordered iPhone to keep the same level of functions as on my imac

Many have no use for any or all of those things, but if you do, then go for it. The browsers on the Android all work fine.

Same here, I don't mind the removal of choice on the tablets, I only use them for specific tasks, but my phone is always in my hand, I need the freedom I'm supposed to have in a smartphone

So you carry an extra battery with you everywhere you go?

For me the same -if going with SGS4 , I bring two spare batteries charged and one external charger . Thus, no way to end up with no power. Will see how 6+ will eat the power and how to manage it...

Sure. Absolutely. At least one extra charged battery in my office. home, and car. Sometimes I'll carry one in my pocket. What a great feeling to be able to put in a fully charged battery in a few seconds and never have to connect a cord to my cell phone at anytime for any reason.

That's cool. I have a cable at my work desk, cable in my car and at home before bed. My job requires me to sit in front of a computer but if I was mobile all the time I probably go with a batter pack integrated case. But honestly I don't check my phone that much during work or driving.

Dude, it's an SD CARD...not a hard drive. Completely different forms of storage devices.
