Cool to see Townscaper on here. Far and away my favorite thing to do during an hour long Zoom meeting that could have been an email

I think the most memorable design awards was Delicious Library winning in 2007. I can’t recall any before or after that.

How can an 8 year old game be a finalist? Just because it was released on iOS last year? It says quite a bit about the sorry state of gaming on the Mac and iPad.. :(
I am also confused by these nominations. For others, Alien: Isolation is the 8-year-old game, and it's up for best graphics. What Remains of Edith Finch, which is a 5-year-old game, is nominated for interaction. They are both walking simulators, and they are both decent games for their time. Personally, I think Edith Finch has a better story and superior graphics. The links are gameplay footage, so you can decide for yourself.

But at this point, neither should be eligible for awards.

This becomes more of a joke every year.

Ignoring the categories… it’s still just the usual suspects.

I mean what is even the selection criteria. Everything about this seems like just the usual App Store marketing.

It's a terrific app. I love the simplicity and zero hassle automatic syncing between all of my devices. My life is pretty much run out of Notes.

I stopped using Evernote a couple of months after Notes came out.
Sure... but the Notes app wasn't nominated.

I just went through emotional roller coaster thinking this was the new Mac Pro^3. Oh well.

A category called "Audio" would make me happy. Or, errr, "Sonic Expression", or whatever.
