OTA 300 MB download on my iPhone 6 running 9.2.1. Download complete. Preparing Update now.

Software update on iPhone says I'm up to date at 9.2.1 but iTunes says update available - 9.2.1

Odd.

[doublepost=1458587385][/doublepost]I had this happen to me recently. I went ahead an re-downloaded the update via iTunes and let it install, and the message went away. I think it is a bug on Apple's side or on iTunes that isn't recognizing what the version is on the device, or isn't comparing it correctly.

i just installed 9.2.1 last week. Held off for as long as possible till I knew it was safe. Installing a new OS on day one is asking, no let me correct that, begging for problems. Apple has proven time and again that it's iOS updates are not always reliable.

Prudence dictates to wait at least a month before installing any new OS if you can't afford ending up with a screwed up phone.

That was better advice before they greatly expanded the pre-release user pool with the public beta program. You gotta do what you're comfortable with but this is a very conservative approach you're preaching. Personally, I don't have anything mission critical enough on my iPhone to manage it this tightly to mitigate the risk that an issue went undetected through the usual internal, alpha, beta, and public beta testing processes (over several iterations). Be assured that this release aged well over one month already.

I have tried twice to download iOS 9.3 today and both times it has failed to download the 1.88GB file (the first time it failed quickly). It is unacceptable that Apple doesn't have enough server capacity/bandwidth to support its millions of customers! The second time I was at around 1.70GB of the 1.88GB needed to have the complete file. Apple's iTunes software is so horrible that in 2016 it can't pickup where it left off like so many other data transfer programs are able to do and have been able to do for quite some time. Apple is always touting things like "X" number of people have downloaded the latest "X" Apple software within 24 hours after its release. Trying a third time.
[doublepost=1458600027][/doublepost]Wondering if everyone else got the same info details on the iOS 9.3 update file?

Downloaded it on an old 9.2.1. 5S. While I'm not completely sure. it looked like the installation process crashed the first time.

The second time I got till the 'Hola' screen, gave in my wifi password, then my icloud. 'Iphone is preparing icloud <something something>', then after a minute the screen went off (auto lock). Tried a couple more times, same. Tried pressing the volume every 10-ish seconds to avoid the auto lock. After a couple minutes it still didn't manage to get through.

Tried a final time by pressing 'Skip iCloud for now', then it got through.

Perhaps an isolated case, but I'll wait a couple more days to update my 6S for now.

I like how apple made Settings force touch actions useless (except battery, which is not duplicated functionality, but useless by itself), this was the only update I was looking for and they made it crap. No new MacBooks also a disappointment

Can I make the App icons bigger yet on my iPad? I am trying to make it work as an CarPlay screen in my non-CarPlay vehicle...

I updated my iPhone 6s+ and iPad Air2 last night. I really like the night shift feature. When my alarm on my phone went off this morning I could tell a big difference in looking at the warmer color screen. This is a great enhancement :)
