He literally just said interactive widgets are coming to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.No it’s just iPadOS
No he didn’tHe literally just said interactive widgets are coming to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
YES!!!For the first time, iPads will support customized Lock Screens, while Home Screen widgets will be interactive. There's also now support for Live Activities, and a new Health app for the bigger iPad screen.
He did say something on the lines of, “Just like iPhone and iPad, interactive widgets are coming to mac”No he didn’t
I think you're supposed to use Numbers. All these new features but the calculator is nowhere to be seen. Oh wait...it probably needs the M3 to make all those advanced calculations...
Coming up next year. They just landed a year old Lock Screen customisation.I really wanted Standby on iPad. Seriously missed opportunity.
None of the things you mentioned require macOS. They just require iPadOS to be improved.Lol still no MacOS for iPad, multi-user support or a functional file manager that won’t dismount external drives halfway through a multi-gig file transfer.
“What’s a computer?” Not this thing.
They should just bring the Finder (renamed to files and given a touch-UI makeover of course) to iPad OS... also, I want to be able to download everything in iCloud to my iPad and keep it there.Shame they didn't do much with multitasking and file management.
Such a true statement. As I was watching, I kept thinking, ok, when's the big reveal? They led off with wallpapers and widgets! This shouldn’t be consider as whole generation update…
I mean, they created so powerful devices and they’re show wallpapers change?
It’s like putting F1 engine to road car and show people how nice cup holder car have :/
It's confirmed coming to iOS. It's just really odd how they demoed it on iPadOS and only casually mentioned that it will come to iOS. I guess they needed to spread out the talking points to iPad since it didn't have as many new features? The iPhone needs interactive widgets
If you're expecting the iPad to become a Mac, then I'm sorry to say you'll likely be disappointed for the far forseeable futureLol still no MacOS for iPad, multi-user support or a functional file manager that won’t dismount external drives halfway through a multi-gig file transfer.
