I didn’t even expect USB gen 3 at all so I’ll happily take it. I’ll finally not hate offloading my phone every week.

Yeah likewise, it's not in any of my use cases to take advantage over that difference but I know people who would definitely benefit. Minor savings but on their scale, not minor at all.

I’m going to place my order for the iPhone 15 Pro Max in blue as soon as Apple launches the pre-orders next week

I’m going to some National Parks out west next summer and I’m really looking forward to taking pictures with the new periscope lens

I’m also looking forward to the 3 nm chips in the new iPhone. From what I’ve read about them, the energy efficiency is going to equate to a substantial increase in battery life - roughly 35% more, which is huge

I’ll be posting some of the pictures that I take with it on MacRumors and I really look forward to getting it soon (hopefully) in the first batch of shipments🤞
I didn't follow the live event, but the macrumors acticle didn't mention the periscope lens on the pro max??

Do you think next year’s iPhone 16 will be equipped with an A17 Bionic? How will it be different from the A17 Pro?
At least an A17. I'd be shocked if Apple reused the A16 in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus that's in the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max.

Other possibility is there will be an A18 and A18 Pro chip like how Macs have regular M and M Pro/Max/Ultra chips to differentiate regular from Pro devices.

What does the action button do differently vs the switch on the older phones?

I like that last idea! Well thought! You’re hired!

That would also make sense if next year Apple is using a new and different node from TSMC, and some say this architecture isn’t compatible between the N3B node and the N3E node…

Sorry if this was answered. I missed the event. What is the pricing on the new iphones?

Wait, will the iPhone15 pro models have 4K action mode? I missed it if they said it. It’s the one feature I’ve been waiting for, since we currently can only do 2K action mode. Thanks!
