Interesting, that has to be a typo, right?

Even apples own press release makes it hard to interpret (bold formatting is mine)

"up to 24 hours of typical usage per full charge" this catch my eye but I don't understand what they are claiming - also missing the Front camera to 24MP or the Samsung three-layer stacked image sensor so that's a next year feature
 
I am also worried about the 18 Pro cameras because it seems that they are using the same main sensor for 5 years in a row with the only difference being variable aperture.
 
I’m also sad to see that Apple still doesn’t offer an esim only version outside of the US. Here in Germany, due to the SIM, the battery is only 4056/5391 mAh on Pro/Pro Max, versus 4288/5567 on the eSIM version. That means it only reaches 23h and not the “all day” (technically)

They actually do mention a new sensor! That must be where the extra light sensitivity comes from

Combined with a new sensor that improves image quality, the result is better low-light photography, crisper detail in the back of group photos, and more unique shots

It's technically a new Sony IMX905 sensor with a redesigned architecture. If you're talking about a truly next-generation camera leap, we'll probably have to wait until next year when Samsung's three-layer stacked image sensors are expected to arrive.

I have been waiting for the 905 for 3 years now. Now to decide between the 18 Pro and Duo 🙁

I'm there too with my 13mini. My daughter has a 12mini with a cracked back and is egging me on to get a shiny new iPhone so she can claim my 13mini. But there is nothing but my cold dead hand which will make me purchase a new brick

I have both a 17 max and 13 mini. I hang on to the mini because it’s the perfect size for running or just a long walk. It’s also the reason I bought it in the first place. I love the Pro for everyday use but either is too honking big when active. That doesn’t help you, I know, but just be prepared for pocket shock when trying to fit the Pro where the mini once sat. Wish Apple would bring it back, maybe as an SE model.

Either way you're going to need a larger fanny pack. I have a 13 Pro Max and that has always felt a bit bigger than I'd like, so if I pull the trigger, it will be for the Pro size. Having the same specs otherwise does make it an easier decision.
 
^^^ My question too. I understand the Apple modem gets much better reception and on my boat that would be very useful.

Another thread here says pro has C2 but Pro max has qualcom 🙁
