It looks very nice. We’ll see if Toronto gets a street-facing flagship store in the coming year or so. It had been rumoured for the SW corner of Yonge and Bloor, but, as reported by MacRumors back in late March 2022, that arrangement between Apple and the developer (Mizrahi) had gone sour. I’m interested if there are any updates on the matter. Anyone know?

Happy to read that the artwork is a wrap instead of a permanent feature although it is very unique. I rather like the clean aesthetics of Apple stores.
Nah.

Having art and being able to change it gives the opportunity to always be hip or relevant. Even allows for very crucial holidays to flourish in the kinds of those walking by.

Great architecture I support and Apple has a LOT of great stores with great architecture.

There was a grand opening wrap from artists in China. That Apple Store wrap was so beautiful I was disappointed when they took it off.

Can't find any trace of it online.

I just wanted to share that this store demolished the iconic dome entrance to the Pacific Centre.
But it's nice that Vancouver is getting a bigger Apple store as the original store inside the mall was tiny!

Edit: Not mentioned in the article, but this is how the store is rendered to look when the wrapping is removed
Ah thanks, was wondering what it replaced. It's not like that dome was some sort of majestic creation, the replacement is an improvement tbh.

So - you will have all the homeless people sleeping across the street from you on the steps of the Art Gallery AND... and this is the best part.... Every protest takes place right across from the Apple Store now... Trump, Covid, MeToo, BLM, LBTQGSPP+2 etc etc... all the protests will be right there so if they don't accost you when you come out the homeless will since you obviously have lots of money.

I avoid going to the North Shore on Georgia just because of that area but I need to see this now...
Since you are so delicate and fragile, you can opt to use the indoor mall entrance to the store. I know it will be quite hard on you to have to look at such people on the other side of the glass, but hopefully you’ll be able to bear such a terrible burden.
