I like how these wrap on the ear, but I have never owned anything Beats before.

Literally, just picked up the new AirPods, like 10 minutes ago, so will see if these are for me first.

Beats always seem to go on sale eventually anyway.

I always hated the beats sound but the more recent ones don’t sound ... horrible. Since Apple took over they seem to have been slowly tamping down the overpowering bass.

You get an additional 24 hours from the case

After the case charges them again.
It’s still only a one time, nine hour run, until you’ve charged them again. My Pb3’s give me more than 12 hours on a single, full charge.

What day do you have where you wear earphones for 9+ hours constantly?

Jimmy, never. But I don’t want to have to charge them every day.
I listen to music/books through the night. With my Pb3’s I only have to charge every other day.

You dont have to charge them every day, you simply place them in the case when you arent using them and they get charged.... overall you are going to get 24 hrs of use whereas with the old ones you were getting 12... Thats the way you have to look at it...... then you probably plug the case in to charge every week and half or 2 depending on your usage.

Can you make / receive calls with them? I mean, do they have microphones like AirPods?
Yes they have same functionality.

Does this has active noise cancelling? Will it remove aircraft noise?
Noise isolation but not noise cancellation I am afraid. As for aircraft noise it will reduce it but not to the extent noise cancellation earphones/headphones would.
[doublepost=1554407977][/doublepost]These are about £20 more than most expensive version of AirPods 2nd Gen. They are aimed for people who go to the gym , want more sound isolation, better sound or AirPods don't fit. Look a good option but as AirPods fit me and meets my needs, will pass on them.

at $250 for mediocre headphones that's exactly what they are doing, taking people's money.

This is what Beats excels at "MARKETING" and "HYPE" every headphone they release supposedly has some great new technology that enhances sound.
Well, they can feel free to take mines and whoever decides to purchase them.

Yikes..... $250 is steep.

9 hours of listening isn’t specified if that’s with case recharge or 9 hours of listening “per charge” for each ear piece. AirPods 2.0 get about 4-5 hours and my AirPods 1.0 get (now) about 1.5-3.0 hours of listening per charge.

So, if Apple are advertising 9 full hours of use “per charge,” and they have improved sound performance over the AirPods, it might be worth a look relative to the $250 tag, but there are a lot of options other once u get over $250.

AirPods at $175 (est.) is a tough sell; these at $250 might be impossible. But what do I know about sales and purchasing lol.
CNet has a better review of them, its seems that in 15 mins charge you can get 1.5 hours of play back and 30 min gives you 4. so it looks like you get a full charge from the case. but the case is huge, so with a nine hour play time, I would just love the case home and charge at night.
[doublepost=1554598495][/doublepost]at first, compared to my Earin's, the case is gigantic and these wouldn't be worth it. (plus Earins are very small and sound good, but 3 to 4 hours play back, 18 with case) but 9 hours of play back, I could just leave the case at home and charge these at night, I Never listen to music 9 hrs straight. Not sure I like the over the hear hook thing but never tried them.

or never take the case with you, 9 hours is a long ass time, you could just drop them in the case when you get home.

It's 9 hours without the charging case. If you watch the video, there is fine print at the bottom of the "9 hours per charge" part that states "up to 24 hours of combined playback with charging case."

I like to wear headphones for 1-1.5 hours every morning in the gym and then throughout the day at work to listen to music and take calls. Also, ever been on a flight to Europe, Asia, the Middle East... basically anywhere outside the US? Easy to hit 9 hours on those.

And thankfully as your aware you can charge these with the case to take you over the 9hrs playback. My reply was in response of people who don't think 9hrs is enough.

People make the same arguments for buying a £100 phone vs £1000 one. Value vs quality.
