Apple Announces tvOS 27 With These New Features

Pluto TV's use of the Apple TV Remote and tvOS navigation is pretty hacky too. Frustrating since we love Pluto TV otherwise.

I exclusively view Pluto via the UHF App now.
Gamechanger -- highly recommend it.

This has to be the weakest tvOS update ever.

The fact they had to bullet point about AppleCare as a new feature, says it all.

And of course, nothing about AI or Siri on tvOS, because no current Apple TV or HomePod supports it (and they never will, so where the hell is the new hardware).

More than likely some of the AI or Siri will include features that will be announced when they announce the new iPhones. It would make sense for them to wait until that announcement, then release the new hardware, in case there’s anything linking to new abilities on the new phones. I would bet the new hardware will be announced with the new phones, or in a press release shortly afterwards.

Oh but it’s not, I remember a few years ago there was just a single wallpaper and nothing else. It’s honestly a joke how little effort they put into Apple TV

Nowhere near worthy of a "27" release but I guess they've gotta be seen to be updating

MacOS allows us to "shake" the mouse, to enlarge the pointer, if it's lost on a large, white screen.
Sure wish AppleTV OS could do this to a hockey puck; guess I'm getting too old to watch hockey...
