Not sure if this is the right place for this post.
Love the Apple TV and have a iPod Touch, with 2.0 firmware and the remote app which is great! Finally a decent search feature for my music, would be great to use this to search YouTube on ATV too.
Now that I have a sensible wireless input device (ie the iPod) I would love to see the ability to use officially some of the great apps already developed for Apple TV (eg CouchSurfer), or a universal remote with some IR dongle.
Would be great to see this done in the same way as the iPhone/iPod Touch via a supported Apple SDK.
So the question is what do those who have ATVs think? Good idea or bad? 🙂
