Apple App Store on Pwned iPhone 2.0

Hello Everyone!

I just want to ask can I pay for apps and download free apps on my iPhone (1st Gen) that has been hacked with Pwnage from Apple's App Store?

Doesn't seem to work on my friend's Pwned original iPhone. Just says loading when I click on the Appstore, and nothing comes up. In iTunes it doesn't let them purchase or even read the descriptions of the apps, an error appears saying it can't connect.

Access the Appstore on my legit non-Pwned 3G iPhone works fine via friend's Internet connection, so I know it's not some firewall/router issue.

Has anyone gotten this to work on a Pwned original iPhone?
 
yes, i can confirm.

original iphone pwned once i upgraded to 1.1.4.

re-pwned it yesterday w/ 2.0 and everything works as normal

itunes via pc, handset, etc.

once in a while app store will hang and i will have to hold the home button to reset, and once it froze all together so i had to hard reset (power + home)
 
Help

I pwned my 1st gen iphone with v2.0 and installed some apps, but when i click on them nothing happens. It looks like it is loading for a few seconds and then goes back to the home. Help!
 
What I do is download all the apps I want from my Mac and then sync to my phone.. No hang or crash issues that way.. havent tried the app store on the phone yet though....... Any difference???

that happened once. i tried to open a few apps and it would try to load then just crash to springboard. i just powered down the phone, turned it back on, and all was fine. worse case scenario, delete the apps from the phone, download them from itunes, then sync them that way to the phone. maybe that will help.

Have bought apps on iTunes and on the phone itself with my pwned 2G 2.0.

Working great so far....
 
If you turned on the restrictions then they hide those icons.

Check settings>restrictions to see if you did that without realising!

thanks a lot spinstorm. that was it. didnt know the restritction involved hiding the icon.
