Friend called me on FaceTime tonight because his iPhone XR won’t update to 18.7.7. I had him do a hard reboot and try again and it still is failing to verify the update.
I had him check what iOS he is on and he still is on 18.7.6
So I started looking online and it looks like people who are stuck at iOS 18 are getting an unsigned update from Apple at this time. Even people that have already updated to 18.7.7 are being presented with a newer build of 18.7.7 that is persistently telling them to update. Guess we’ll have to wait a few days for Apple to fix this “urgent” release. 😁
