Didn’t Parler get rid of their entire iOS development team when their appeals where all rejected a while back? I wonder if they’d be able to come back immediately even if they wanted to.

Pretty bad timing for that Pillow guy's network which I heard was 'launching' today. It was looking like such a winner.
Which is telling right? The CEO was ousted and many board members replaced = Not the same company and therefore not the same product. The user base will not return for the new approved product.

It has also been demonstrated that Twitter and FB are where the naughties from Jan 6th made their plans. Yet no real blowback to those two platforms...
one day of a few people breaking in and having selfies gets treated like the worse time in America history while a whole year of riots and burning cities down and media just forget it, we all know there isn't a fair left and right, but anyways just glad its back

Diversity is diversity. Can’t pick and choose who you allow.
Yea, we can and we do. You think we should allow pedophiles to have a chat and share pictures because it's "free speech" and "diverse"? If the platform becomes hateful and endangers others or is used to commit crimes against our people, we should absolutely shut it down.

Uh, that's not free speech, that's breaking laws that are already in place.

What caused a summer of riots Facebook and Twitter not Parler so don’t go with that one sided lies. 99% of Parler people don’t cause problems
The social media platforms weren't responsible for the "riots." They merely facilitated conversations among protest participants, which is legal. The same could probably be said for Parler, except the platform was used on 1/6 to distribute real-time videos showing members trying to overturn the verified results of a federal election while threatening the lives of elected officials, which is, of course, completely illegal.

Mixed feelings. We shouldn’t allow fringe ideologies to find bubbles where they can reinforce each others’ false beliefs, but I’m also glad maybe they’ll keep the crazy off Twitter and FB.
It's a honey pot. Parler has been providing user details/identities to the FBI about the capital raid, which is more than can be said about similar communities that have popped up on Reddit, Twitter, etc.
