Had a trial previously, by looking at the games on there recently not much has changed, still garbage.

So you mean you cancelled your trial. I'm pretty sure a lot of folks have the same reaction to Arcade, or find more value in consoles. I get that. I have a backlog of PS4 and Switch games, and would rather play those than try out Apple Arcade. That said, I know a lot people - kids and adults, who enjoy the service. So different strokes.

Lumen is just The Room clone it seems. I can see Apple Arcade going the Ping way, but Apple will refuse to be embarrased with such failure so they will keep it around. Who wants to subscribe to this when you can subscribe to PLaystatiion, Xbox, live streams games like Stadia etc..etc.. Apple is probably having Pippin flashbacks.

At least Apple tv+ has hope still.

There’s a few enjoyable games for sure
- sonic racing
- The last campfire (was nice but once you finish it it’s not a repeat game)
- spire blast

a lot of it is high quality but it does feel a bit niche sometimes. I think it needs a few more mainstream games

Not "just", but the majority are "mobile games", yes. Not sure I think that they are crap all crap, though. And Apple Arcade doesn't have anywhere near the same amount of "big" titles that can be found on consoles, Switch and PC/Windows – that's true.

At the same time there's no other service that gives you the same game on your computer, TV streamer (Apple TV) and your mobile devices with all progress cloud synced. So at least there Apple Arcade is a bit special. 🙂

If Apple would get more powerful graphics performance in the hands of more Mac users and an Apple TV with similar graphics performance as the current gen console hardware, things might start to happen when it comes to "AAA" gaming on Apple's platforms. If...

Apple needs to use them trillions of dollars they have in the bank to buy Nintendo, Apple Arcade is garbage at the moment, didn't even bother using my 3 month free trial.

Not sure if that’s really needed to buy Nintendo, but it certainly doesn’t sound as if you assessed the service in any way before judging it.

Plenty of Nintendo Switches to be had (even if it's just the Lite). Way more fun than Apple Arcade.

Is it really? I haven’t tried Arcade yet but the sheer non-availability of analogue trigger buttons kills my enjoyment for any racing related game on the Switch already. For casual games I’m not convinced the switch is that far ahead either.

Don’t know many good strategy games, but if you’re after pretty games that’ll make you think, A Monster’s Expedition is where it’s at.

not on Arcade, but Final Fantasy Wrath of the Lion in all-time.

Nothing to access, tried it for a brief moment, games aren't up to scratch, mediocre at best. with the war chest apple has Apple Arcade could be a lot better.

I’ve tried using apole arcade twice but i think apple needs a mascot or a signature game maybe to attract more audience

Apple need to make a new Apple TV with M1 chip better GPU , So we get more games on platform
