And from completely other side. Guys/girls what about to go to do something reasonable then just killing time at games?

About 67% of Americans, or roughly 211 million people, play video games on at least one type of device, with more than half of those who game, playing on multiple platforms, according to a new study released by Electronic Entertainment Design and Research. I know your profile says you're from Europe, but I bet it's not so different there. :)

Take games for what they are - just a different entertainment platform in addition to a tv show, movie, or book. :) Just like in movies, some games can be a real thinker, while others are just guilty pleasure nonsense fun.

On iOS 13.1 on both iPhone and iPad, but the "Try it Free" option only appeared on the iPadOS. Weird, but I'm happy I'm able to sign up for it early. Thanks for the heads up.
It does say that, but when looking at it thru the app store, it says that it is coming soon for the iPad. Weird.

I was able to sign up for the free trial, then I went into my subscription settings and canceled the subscription so that it would not renew after the free trial period.

Instead it cancelled the subscription completely, no longer allowing me to use it, and when I try to subscribe again, the free trial option is no longer available, instead asking me to pay the $4.99 to sign up.

Apple Arcade appears to be rolling out to a handful of users ahead of its planned September 19 release date, based on a few tweets and emails sent to MacRumors.

We've also received access on one of our devices, and it appears those who are able to use Apple Arcade at this time are running either iOS 13 or the latest iOS 13.1 beta.

We were able to sign up for a complete Apple Arcade subscription, which comes with a one-month free trial. After that, Apple Arcade will be priced at $4.99 per month.

There appear to be right around 54 games available at launch, and we'll have a full list of titles coming soon. Games run the gamut from puzzle titles to action titles to RPGs and multiplayer games. Apple says new games will be added regularly.

Installing Apple Arcade games after subscribing is as simple as browsing the available game catalog, choosing a game, and tapping on the "Get" button.

Games can be downloaded and played fully offline, with no internet access required, and there appears to be no limit on the number of Apple Arcade games that can be installed at one time.

Apple Arcade is set to launch in an official capacity this Thursday, and it's possible Apple will continue rolling out access ahead of that date.

Hi I just subscribed there just went it to App Store & it let me sign up.

I can sign up on my iPad Pro running 13.1. But the App Store page says "Now on iPhone. Coming soon to iPad, Mac, and Apple TV." Has anyone signed up and used Arcade on an iPad?

Just something to keep in mind:

This is not like a normal free trial where you can sign up, cancel, and it will just not renew at the end of the 30-days. If you cancel it is effective immediately, so set a reminder if you just want to test it out.

Maybe, if only you had read the line directly below the cancel button that says cancelling a free trial will do exactly that, you’d have known that it would do that.

This. It is in red letters, canceling will take effect immediately.

I have a few questions:

1. Is it launching internationally, = not just the US (seems so)?

2. Are all (or which?) games utilizing Metal and not OpenGL = could I expect (potentially) good performance? I guess just download each game I'm interested in and try... Which leads me to the last question:

3. What are the systems requirements on macOS? Same for all games on the Apple Arcade service or does it vary between games? Should vary since some games are more graphically demanding than others.

Yep, very sneaky and business savvy. They want you to have to cancel at the last minute, hoping you’ll forget.

I don’t blame the person who was caught off guard by this (i know they should have read more carefully), because all other companies with free trials let you cancel, yet still retain the service until renewal date. You don’t become a trillion dollar company by being Mr Nice Guy!

I'll wait to start my free trial until the full selection of games is available. And it's available on Mac and TV, not just iPhone.
