Apple Arcade today added six new games to the subscription service, all available to play on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV (via Engadget):

Discolored by Shifty Eye: A surreal, first-person puzzle adventure game that tasks you with restoring the color to a once-vibrant world.
Guildlings by Sirvo Studios: A story-driven episodic adventure from the maker of Threes, telling a lighthearted coming-of-age fantasy story about a group of friends on a mythical quest.
Sociable Soccer by Rogue Games: A fast-paced, cross-platform soccer game that includes gameplay on the soccer field and also a full team management system.
UFO on Tape: First Contact by Revolutionary Concepts: An AR game that puts you in the shoes of a UFO hunter.
Takeshi & Hiroshi by Oink Games: A 1-hour long short story about two brothers, taking place in the real world and inside of a role playing game that one of the brothers is making.
Marble It Up: Mayhem! by The Marble Collective: A puzzle game where you have to safely navigate a marble across vast and treacherous landscapes. All six games are available to play on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with Discolored, Guildlings, and Sociable Soccer also available on Mac.

With the addition of these six games, Apple Arcade has now reached 100 total games on iOS and tvOS, and 92 on macOS. Apple has been adding new games to Apple Arcade over the weeks, following the service's launch on September 19.

With a $4.99/month subscription to Apple Arcade, you can gain unlimited access to these 100 games for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV (as well as many on the Mac). If the game is on Apple Arcade, it does not have any in-app purchases or ads of any kind.

A Marble Madness-type game would translate well to touch controls and/or accelerometer controls.

And it would be just the thing to hook my dad, too. I can't tell you how many hours he spent on my NES playing the OG cartridge.

I’m starting to suffer from “subscription fatigue” with so many paid services now.
There's something that I hate about adding monthly payments to my life, even if I think it's worth what I'm paying. My only subscriptions are Apple Music (which gives me Apple TV+ for free) and Netflix. I'm probably going to end up cancelling Netflix 😂

...How do you have Apple TV+ for free via Apple Music?

Honestly been very disappointed with Apple Arcade. Does its cancel your access immediately or do you need to wait till the end of the month to cancel. I play more of the normal games like Clash of Clans and pay the $5 a month for the perks there. More enjoyable, more friends are on it, and established.

And yes, I too am getting subscription fatigue. Apple Music is about the only service I still pay for and have for the most part, satisfaction in. News, TV, Arcade, etc are just distant cousins with little value. Great work Tim! I'm so happy you're overjoyed with the interest in it. I too when I get a mosquito bite show interest in scatching it. Doesn't mean I want to have interest in it though.....

Clash of Clans? That cancerous freemium pay-to-win game that’s engineered to perfectly encourage a cycle of addiction and IAPs? Those are the very games Apple Arcade is trying to avoid.

How many articles does Apple News+ now have available?

A bit off topic but IMO best to keep the updates for all of Apple's flopped services in one place.
They don’t break down services revenue but Apple keeps hitting highs with it in their earnings. If News+ is a failure they’ll phase it out, then again I can’t think of anyone else offering a similar service.

You can cancel at anytime and you’ll still have access until the day it would’ve renewed.

While the value is incredible, there is still only a handful of relevant games in the curated collection for any particular person. This will be something I only subscribe to for a month at a time once or twice a year.

Sayonara Wild Hearts was the only game I played during my trial and that game is definitely killer. I absolutely that game's style

Sayonara Wild Hearts is one of the most incredible mobile games I've ever played. The combination of art, music and constantly shifting gameplay is really something special.

I don't ever play games (well a card game) would this be a good place for me to start? I have wanted to in the past but never really knew which game to try. Maybe the selection would be good place to test it out.

Grindstone has been the gem so far of the 4-5 games I’ve tried. My kids like Silly Sasquatch and the Frogger game. Already easily worth my first few months’ subscription fee.

I probably will keep the Arcade subscription active, my current plan is to subscribe for TV+ for 2-3 months of the year. I do the same with HBO and Showtime as well.
On one hand it’s a little bit of a pain, on the other hand it’s actually nice to keep me focused on which shows to be watching.
