Apple At-Home Advisor...

Wow, this thread is *still* going strong!

Anyway, awhile back I applied to the position through KS and Apple. I received an email recently about an opportunity so I thought why not? Now I'm in the final stages of being hired. Pretty easy smooth process, tbh.

Moves must be approved in advance and with the full knowledge of both your manager and HR. Salary is adjusted when you move if needed to fit the local cost of living.
 
I got hired on through Kelly as well. Now, there has been no talk about hours, pay or anything. I have gleaned from reading here that Kelly pays about 1/3 as much as direct hires. Do the kelly ppl get offers to come on board with the company at any point? Any info on what would be any "apple" perks that the kelly ppl are eligible for. At that, I do believe I will be full time, which is good.

I did also apply directly through apple and did not hear anything. It has been a week since I submitted my app to the website. Wish I knew if it is just going slow or did I do something or miss something that caused me to be overlooked.

I think it's around $9.15/hr around here. I think you also don't get an Apple employee discount.

It's speedy for some, slow for many others. I originally applied a year before I got hired, with additional applications sporadically throughout that year time period. I have no way of knowing which application was the "one" that got me hired, but they were all the same app/cover letter. iPatience.

I've accomplished a few things in 50+ years I suppose. And I don't troll random people on the internet, just ones that have inflated egos. I will admit though, you do seem to have a talent for self-promotion if not web design.

Not to worry - I'm done with this thread, it jumped the shark some time ago.

And you picked up the fact that I have an "inflated ego" from glancing at a web page that just links to other web sites i've done, I would have to say you have "accomplished" a lot with your telepathic mind-reading skills.
 
hello there! completely new to the forum and in Ireland. applied for At-home iOS advisor, got through to the 3rd interview scheduled for April 3rd, just wondering if there is anybody out there who got the job and if you have anything interesting to say about it, how is your experience, hours, customers and what did you receive from Apple once you got the job?

We are in the same place in the process. My interview is the 2nd. I feel like I have been waiting for the last interview for ages. I haven't had as much iPatience as these other guys here have. I am ready to get it done!

A few of us are May 6th class (including myself). Do you know when your start date is approximated?

May 6th class ftw! Hopefully us may 6th people don't get push to a later start date.

My process started dec 14 last year (initial start date was set for April) and I just finished my third interview a few days ago.

Most def looks like some May 6 people are going to be pushed to start at a later date....
