Apple at NECC

Apple will be at the 23rd Annual NECC

The National Education Computing Conference 2002 will take place on June 17-19, 2002 in San Antonio, Texas. Apple will be promoting the eMac, iBook, as well as the new XServe for education.

Meanwhile, Ricmond Times-Dispatch reports that the Henrico County School District is expanding their iBook program to 6th graders. Previously, it had been limited to 7th and 8th graders.

Glad to see Apple continuing its dedication to education. Hopefully another state will buy!!

It will be interesting to see if any upgrades/updates are rolled out for the conference. If there are any small performance increases it might be the right time, leaving room for the big stuff at MWNY.
