Apple Television Ad Says iPhone "Coming June 29th"

A number of user reports indicate that the iPhone is being advertised by AT&T with an advertised date of June 29th.

CBS "60 Minutes"

It just aired on 60 Minutes on CBS so hopefully that is a helpful clue in starting to track it down.

Don't have a copy of it but I just saw it and can definitely confirm its authenticity. It shows someone watching a movie than wanting Calamari. They open Google Maps and do a search. Finally, it says "Coming June 29th."

Umm, there are 30 days in June.

I hope that I can get an unlocked version soon after launch for a reasonable price, my parents won't switch from T-Mobile, even though there is a dead area in a two block radius around our house 🙁.

Saw it on NBC about 10 minutes ago (some Dateline special)... I thought no one knew the release date and indeed, its big news. Somewhat strange for Apple to "announce" the release date in a commercial... but so be it.
