apple/att miscommunication?

    soo, i just got off the phone with an att customer service representative and our conversation wen something like this

    me: so i had a quick question about plans for the new iphone?
    her: the iphone and the plans have not yet been released.
    me: they were just released this morning.
    her: the iphone comes out this friday and the plans have not been released yet.
    me: okay, well i guess i will be calling back later this week, thanks, bye

    so did apple release this info without att knowing about it, cuz i have yet to see anything on thier site about it, and the customer service rep obviously hadnt checked apple.com this morninig. Whats going on!

    I'm sure the information has not filtered down through the ranks of at&t yet.

    They can't say anything they aren't suppose to, especially with a product like this.

    And considering the plans were announced 2 hours ago...
