I call Apple care since the phone they sent me frozen again on me they told me return it first the senior advisor and he told then we can issue a new and he told me keep the orginal device that’s you did the repair.

They got it yesterday the senior advisor called me he see they receive it but didn’t scan it so he told me he can’t transfer my Apple care to my old device.

He called today they promised him the repair depot they will scan it in again they didn’t.

He talked to this department they told him Apple on back order in the repair depot they have 3-4 device that’s they didn’t scan in how can this be ?

Apple usually fast with it now I have to wait till they scan it and released the funds from the card to set up the process again

Their probably still trying to get caught up on scanning the other 100 devices you’ve claimed had issues and returned.
Update the replacement has only one scuff do you think Apple will charge me when I return the phone via iPhone upgrade program?

There no dust in lens and I didn’t check so I don’t get crazy

Is what true? o_O

If AppleCare tells you that it is backorder, then that means that there will be some delay for you to receive your replacement.
Apple would have nothing to gain by telling you anything else, so, of course, you can go with the idea that it truly is backordered.

What did they tell you when you asked how long the backorder will be?

They don’t know they told me there messing parts to build me a phone

It's really unlikely that AppleCare said they don't know when parts are coming in. There will ALWAYS be an estimated get-well date. You simply have to ask for someone who CAN tell you, even if it is only an estimate. They would tell you something like: Parts are due within 10 days, your iPhone will be repaired then, so approximately 3 days after that.

IMHO, "I don't know" is an unacceptable answer, from ANY company, (and that's what AppleCare would hear from me) Sharing THAT unimpressive answer here is not evidence of bad luck, but just not taking the time to get an answer, even if it is just an "educated guess-timate" Someone at AppleCare can do that. All you have to do is ask

They don’t know when they will have parts to send me a phone that works I still have the broken phone with me till they send me a phone

Oh - OK. If you want "a phone that works", then I assume that your present iPhone is not working.
So, you could get a box from Apple to send your iPhone to the repair center.
I expect that would be a quicker repair than some indeterminate period and unknown parts, then end up waiting for a rebuilt phone that still may not work successfully for you.

Why not go with what you already have, and let Apple repair that one?

Did you ever ask specifically *why* the phone is on backorder? They should be able specifically tell you why it’s on backorder, how long to expect of a wait and you should receive automated updates if it ships earlier.

They don’t have a specific part to built my replacement phone and no eta but they told me they get parts every day

If they gave you a work order number, then you can simply just call or use the live chat, provide them the number they gave you and they can update you with the status of when to expect it to ship.
