This is exactly why they keep doing it, and should keep doing it. Don't forget the US Dollar is weakening too so prices are actually increasing even more than you think in USD terms. 😀

No, provincial and Federal (GST) taxes are charged in addition to the sticker price.
Well we are at $0.97 that does equal $19 more on $399.
Better deal if you get anything bigger than the 16GB.

Since I do all of my shopping in the US of A perhaps I will pick up my iPad there. American AppleCare+ compatible in Canada right?
Oddly, the iPhone 5C costs $50 more ($599 vs $549) for 16 GB, and the 5C 32 GB is $70 more ($719 vs $649).
$20 isn't bad on the iPads. We get far more screwed than that on many other things.
