Apple Back To School Refund Policy?

Hi everyone,

I'm in Australia and there is a Back to School promotion here. My friend bought a 13" MBP last week together with an iPod Touch. He just sold his iPod yesterday.

So the question is will he be able to refund the MBP and get the money back for the MBP only?

Interesting thing though, if he is able to do that, will the iPod cashback come to his account later as well? (I think Apple will only start the cashback progress when the 2 weeks return window closed?)

The rebate is made so that you will go past the return period before receiving the rebate.
