Apple Battery Replacement iPhone 3gs

I was going to send in my phone to have a battery replacement done. Has anyone done this? I have already replaced my screen when my phone was dropped, do you think that will be an issue?

If it's in AppleCare no fuss. Plus 3GS isn't as easy to replace the battery so they swap the device.
